MSG SERIES

Compact 4-inch Smart Gauge
Display pressures, levels, flow rates, temperature or any other parameter from a J1939 or 4-20mA source on a compact, 4" diameter gauge that installs into a 2" hole. The ruggedized, waterproof unit with watertight, plug and play connectors comes with an easy-to-read OLED display that provides excellent visibility in all lighting conditions and performance to -40°F/-40°C.  Common applications include DEF level monitoring, tank level monitoring and system pressure monitoring.  Shows up to two parameters.

Control & Alarm Options
Being smart gauges, configurable alarms and output control logic signals are available.  Select the desired alarm level to provide a descriptive alarm message on the display along with a corresponding red or yellow lamp illumination.  Utilize the control logic outputs to activate an external alarm horn or siren, signal an alarm monitoring device or system or activate another device or component.  A common application is monitoring a DEF nurse tank and turning a pump on for a low local DEF tank level.  An alarm log shows the last 32 alarm conditions.

Communications
In addition to output logic signals, both J1939 CANbus and RS-485 Modbus outputs are available for seamless integration with other systems and devices.  For a pressure application, a 4-20mA pressure signal can be fed into an MSG SERIES gauges with can then be translated to either J1939 CANbus or RS-485 Modbus.

Configurable
MSG SERIES gauges are configurable using the gauge buttons or via CI STATION.

PLC Level Equipment & System Control
The DSG SERIES provides an easy-to-configure PLC level of equipment and system control is a ruggedized, waterproof unit with watertight, plug and play connectors and easy-to-read OLED display that provides excellent visibility in all lighting conditions and performance to -40°F/-40°C. 

Control & Alarm Options
Configuration settings for the display, input functions and output functions provide an easy-to-configure controller.  Select what is displayed, input and output functionality and process logic processing.  Provide descriptive logic and alarm messages on the display along with corresponding red or yellow lamp illuminations.  Applications include engine control, equipment control, system control, process control and electric motor control.  Configure with CI STATION or contact a Controls Inc application engineer.  For additional details, see PROCESS CONTROL.

Communications
Two-way J1939 CANbus and RS-485 Modbus is available for seamless integration with other remote monitoring systems and devices.  For additional details, see REMOTE MONITORING.  The DSG SERIES can be combined with other Controls Inc products and control panels for multiple equipment control applications.
