Leveraging our expertise in microprocessor-based digital control products, Controls, Inc. has developed complete in-house product design/development capabilities providing customers with the ability to implement complete, application specific control solutions. Utilizing a modular approach, a cost effective control product for your application is only a phone call away.

Hardware

All hardware is designed by CI to maintain complete control over design quality and optimize product flexibility. CI has developed a portfolio of flexible hardware platforms from basic to sophisticated allowing the ability to match the right platform to each customer application.

Firmware

All firmware is designed by CI to maintain complete control over design quality and optimize product flexibility. With a modular approach firmware solutions are implemented that provide the necessary product functionality for each customer application.

Product Design

CI utilizes Pro Engineer Wildfire 4.0 3-D CAD for product design to provide complete, turnkey products per customer specification. With in-house design capabilities and a range of options for enclosures, switches, buttons, and connectors, a complete product ready to plug-in to your application can be provided.

Manufacturing

Once a product is designed, CI provides complete product assembly and support. The product will be shipped with a manual and any additional information requested by the customer. The product will be covered by the standard Controls, Inc. warranty. And, we are available for installation or service questions.

Engine Speed Control

With SAE J1939 engines, a variety of engine speed control functions are possible depending on the application. Basic examples include:

1) engine speed can be limited to within a certain range

2) the rate of increase/decrease can be controlled

3) engine speed can be coordinated to adjust with the operation of the equipment.

Engine Function with External Components

For applications where levels, pressures, temperatures, flow rates or other parameters need to be integrated with engine speed control, CI has an application specific solution.

Integrated Engine and Equipment Controller

Complete system control is available where the controller monitors, coordinates and controls all engine and equipment operations. Implement a single equipment control.
